If you've been here for a little while you probably noticed a few changes on the blog today. My lilmissbearpaw blogging journey began way back in the Spring of 2017. Ever since then it has become my passion project always evolving and growing as I grow in my craft and experience more life. If you've been here since the Spring of 2017, you've had a front-row seat to a lot of that growth and you know we weren't always called the lilmissbearpaw Blog.
Part of choosing a name for my blog, in the beginning, came with the location of my posts. I wanted to write mainly about my Grandparents' business in Montana, but because I was in college and in the process of growing into myself, what I wrote about quickly evolved from there.
Still, I wanted to hang on to my roots.
Naming lilmissbearpaw Blog
My Grandpa actually goes by Bear Paw to many of our clients, friends, and family. When my Dad was little some of them would then call him Bear Paw Jr. Now my road with that side of my family has been pretty rocky, but they've taught me a lot of the lessons and values that I carry near to my heart to this day. To claim and honor that part of my identity, I've branded myself lilmissbearpaw.
My Mission with the lilmissbearpaw Blog is to inspire and rejuvenate a passion in myself and my readers for the wild beauty of Wyoming off the beaten path and the Cowboy Culture gems I grew up with. To do this I will share with you a variety of ideas, experiences, and real-life stories from my own adventures in Wyoming.
You will get the unique perspective of a Centennial of this incredible state and the cultural changes that are rocking our world.
You don't have to be from Wyoming or even be a Cowboy to appreciate these adventures. All you have to do is be courageous in trying new things, but not forget your roots. Combining those perfect ingredients you will discover your own Cowboy spirit and grow the Wild West of tomorrow with me!
