It is hard to believe that in a few short weeks I will have graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree! It seems like yesterday when Mom was helping me learn to read and I was dreading the next math period. I’ve learned so much from 16 years of education but most of the important things I learned weren’t in any textbook, lecture, or classroom.
Some of the lessons were painful! Some of them silly! And some lessons I’m still learning. The journey has been worth every up and down… now it’s the end of a pretty significant chapter!
You’ve heard me say many times that I have some big decisions to make right now. Some of those decisions are becoming more final as I write this and others are still in the wind. I’m not able to share my future plans at this time but I bet you all will be surprised!
My own family doesn’t know what to do with me 😂
What I have learned is that it is ok to be a bit of a mess, it is ok to just be figuring things out, and it is totally ok to tell someone no!!!
So for better or for worse! Here is to my messy future!
I Am
I am still learning.
I wonder where tomorrow leads.
I hear On Top Of The World by Imagine Dragons playing in the background.
I see life as a garden it can grow into something beautiful but it needs a lot of tender love and care.
I feel excited for this new adventure.
I want to be a kid again!
I hope I can look back with no regrets.
I worry… about everything!
I try to be the best version of me.
I wish for a place of my own.
I say, “Suck it up cupcake!” Almost every day in the mirror 😂
I believe in fairy-tales coming true, with patience and hard work like Tiana!
I understand that I don’t understand.
I dream of changing the world!
I am still learning.
